European CA Team Ranking

hiho a system to create a list maybe would be to set up a list with all active teams existing on a certain point in CA. Then u sent this list to all teams on the list and ask them to rate alle teams from 1-10. The feedback should be summerized and u count the points for every team, to in the end u will get a pretty accurate list. The option to not rate a team should be given cause not everybody played vs all the teams yet. :) This list wouldnt be perfect and maybe should be added by some kind of system but at least it would show the thoughts of the community. :) Thats just an idea and i know it requieres lots of work. :D

Well it seems that if a team plays more tourneys gets more points and could reach the top without being the best. I would take this like IFFHS in football, but we do not have "national leagues", so the league should have a rating too. It's not the same win a CB div3 than do third on a CB div1, and according to this give the points to the teams. At this moment, AVA competitions deserves at least 9 over 10, CB still got prestige so 9 over 10, HoQ at moment is a 5 over 10, in my oppinion ESL is a minor competition at moment for CA, a 3on3 nightcup is a lower competition, a ladder is a valueless competition... i don't know if you get my point. Also i'm completly agree with the point system about rounds, maps, ties, def loss and stuff. If the community itself gives prestige to one competition by a rating system (given by the community) we'll get better competitions, better organization, much care about the mod by sites that don't care about this sheeps-community, etc.
